Daniamant RL5 is a signaling device designed for compact, economical and reliable combined indoor and outdoor lighting of liferafts. 

It is a source of flashing light for mounting outside on liferafts in conjunction with a continuous light source for indoor raft lighting. The device is hermetically sealed and waterproof, contains a battery and a switch box in which the internal lamp is located, and a flying terminal terminating in an external flashing lamp. To enable both lamps, a one-point tear-off switch is provided; if necessary, they can be managed individually. The external device provides a minimum light intensity of 4.3 cd in all directions for 12 hours, the internal provides a minimum of 0.5 cd light intensity in all directions for 12 hours. The internal luminaire RL5 is equipped with an ultra-flat profile for further packaging in the liferaft. The battery has a maximum shelf life of 5 years from the date of manufacture.
